voynovAuthorities have more information on Slava Voynov’s alleged domestic abuse arrest and while some of the information is unclear, it still doesn’t look good for the Los Angeles Kings defenseman.

In a statement and follow-up interview with Lt. Joe Hoffman of the Redondo Beach Police Department, officials connected an injured woman who was with Voynov at a hospital to an earlier call received from one of Voynov’s neighbors reporting “crying and screaming” from their Redondo Beach home.

Redondo Beach police officers then arrived at the hospital and arrested Voynov. It was unclear whether he drove the alleged victim to the hospital.

Hoffman added that “the extent of the injuries is unknown,” but the victim has been released from the hospital.

Voynov has been suspended indefinitely following the arrest.
