Marshawn Lynch could be on his way out the door in Seattle.
The Super Bowl-winning running back’s relationship with his team, the Seahawks, has soured, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen. Mortensen predicts that Lynch will be playing for a new team next season.

Lynch has been one of the NFL’s most productive backs since joining the Seahawks in 2010, topping 1,200 yards in each of the last three seasons. He is notorious for having an attitude, however — we all remember his straight-up stonewalling of the media during Super Bowl week — and NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that Lynch barely is on speaking terms with Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll.
Rapoport also noted that the plan in Seattle is to “transition to (quarterback) Russell Wilson as the sole leader of the locker room.”
“I would not be surprised if the Seahawks took a (running back) very early in the draft and essentially replace Beast Mode on their roster,” Rapoport said Sunday on NFL Network.
Lynch ranks 10th in the NFL this season in rushing yards (420) and 22nd in yards per carry (4.3). Apart from Wilson, who’s picked 327 yards on the ground as one of the league’s more mobile quarterbacks, the rest of the Seahawks’ roster has combined for just 81 rushing yards this season.
