Rusty Kuntz is quick, happy and in one piece.

Kuntz, a former major leaguer who’s now the Kansas City Royals’ first base coach, nearly was drilled by a line drive in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series against the Baltimore Orioles. Fortunately, the 59-year-old showed some impressive reflexes to avoid disaster.

High fives all around.

Kuntz dished out two, three, maybe 100 high fives after ducking the scorcher. The Royals’ athleticism clearly extends to the coaching staff.

The cameramen weren’t too shabby during Tuesday night’s ALCS clash, either.
