Royals Fan Trying to Sell His 1965 Mustang To Buy World Series Tickets

Royals fan MustangJerod Main loves his Mustang, but he loves the Kansas City Royals more.

The Blue Springs, Mo., resident is selling his 1965 Ford Mustang fastback on Craigslist for $24,000 with the hopes that he’ll be able to purchase World Series tickets for his family of six. Main told Kansas City’s KSHB-TV that they would attend a game either at home or in San Francisco.

While the idea of selling a classic car for one-time event might seem crazy to people who aren’t diehard sports fans, Main actually has impeccable logic behind the idea.

“I can buy another car on down the road,” Main said. “But seeing the Royals in the World Series is once every 30 years, almost.”
