Friday night was a rough night for Los Angeles Angels fans, and one young Halos supporter was pushed to the brink.
In the eighth inning of Game 2 of the American League Division Series, Jarrod Dyson made one of the game’s biggest plays. The Kansas City Royals outfielder showed off an incredible arm while throwing a seed to third base after catching a fly ball.
Dyson’s fanastic throw cut down Collin Cowgill at third base after he tried to tag up and take the extra base. The double play killed a potential rally and was a key play in the Royals’ eventual win.
That play was a bummer for Angels fans, but one fan had it rubbed in even more. The TBS cameras caught young fans — one pulling for each team — after the play, and the Royals fan was letting the Halos fan have it. The Angels fan, already feeling shame and embarrassment, responded the only way he knew how — with a Thunderstix attack.
