Kauffman Stadium was raucous Tuesday night. Just ask Steve Perry.
The former lead singer of Journey has been front and center this World Series, supporting his beloved San Francisco Giants with crazy antics at AT&T Park. A few Kansas City Royals fans turned the tables and trolled Perry during Game 6 by professing their love for Garth Brooks.
Perry obviously left Kauffman Stadium unhappy, as the Royals smoked the Giants 10-0 to force a decisive Game 7. Don’t expect the Giants to stop believing, though the momentum clearly is in Kansas City’s corner after Tuesday’s blowout.
