The Boston Bruins scored a season-high four goals against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday, but it all went for naught as the defense allowed six to the Habs.
B’s goaltender Tuukka Rask allowed five goals on 23 shots before being pulled in the third period. Rask routinely struggles against the Habs and is 3-11-3 against them in his career with a 2.80 goals against average and a .902 save percentage.
The loss in Montreal leaves Boston with a 2-4-0 record to start the season, but luckily, there’s a lot more hockey to be played.
