Congratulations are in order for former NBA star Gary Payton, who broke Brett Favre’s NFL touchdown pass record Sunday. At least, that’s what KOMO-TV in Seattle would have everyone believe.
The station ran a news item about Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning breaking Favre’s mark, but someone must have just searched the word “Payton” when looking for photos and ran with the first thing that came up. Here’s what aired.
