Washington linebacker Shaq Thompson continued his trend of being a touchdown machine Saturday.
California quarterback Jared Goff attempted to take the ball into the end zone himself in the first quarter, but fumbled at the goal line. Thompson picked the ball up and ran 99 yards the other way to give the Huskies an early lead.
Thompson now has an amazing five touchdowns on the season, including one rushing touchdown on offense.
Washington improved to 5-1 on the year with a 31-7 victory over California.
