Jaelen Strong’s catch against No. 10 Notre Dame on Saturday deserves a “play of the day” nomination.
The Arizona State wide receiver leaped to make an outstanding one-handed touchdown grab in the first quarter of the Sun Devils’ game against the Fighting Irish.
Strong’s highlight-reel play was set up by Notre Dame quarterback Everett Golson, who fumbled the ball at his own 13-yard line to hand the ball over to No. 9 Arizona State.
It’s safe to say Strong is a fairly athletic individual.
The Fighting Irish battled back after trailing by as much as 31 points, but the Sun Devils held on for a 55-31 win to improve to 8-1 on the season.
