Dennis Seidenberg has scored a few goals from near center ice in his NHL career, and he added another one to his highlight film Friday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Instead of dumping the puck into the corner, the Bruins defenseman fired a slap shot toward Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky.

The 2012-13 Vezina Trophy winner was able to get a piece of the shot but not enough, as the puck bounced behind him and into the net for Boston’s first goal.
