The Boston Bruins didn’t practice Tuesday, but they did some roster housekeeping.
Forwards Jordan Caron and Alexander Khokhlachev were sent to the Providence Bruins, while forward Seth Griffith was recalled, the team announced Tuesday.
Griffith returns to Boston after being assigned to Providence on Monday. He is tied for the team lead in goals scored with five.
Caron was recalled to Boston on Sunday and received 3:35 of ice time in Monday night’s 3-2 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. He’s scoreless with a minus-2 rating in two games with Boston this season.
Khokhlachev is scoreless with a minus-2 rating and one shot in three games at the NHL level, although he did tally the shootout winner against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday.
For now, it appears rookie winger David Pastrnak, who made his NHL debut Monday, will remain with the Bruins. It also should be noted that veteran winger Brad Marchand returned to the B’s lineup against the Penguins.
The Bruins’ next game is Friday night against the Winnipeg Jets at TD Garden.
