Eric Bledsoe likes his alma mater’s chances against the winless Philadelphia 76ers.

The Phoenix Suns guard and former Kentucky Wildcat is staying true to his roots, saying Wednesday that he would pick No. 1 Kentucky to win handily over the 76ers — not once, not twice, but in a seven-game series.

“I’m definitely taking Kentucky,” Bledsoe told Brian Geltzeiler and Malik Rose on SiriusXM Radio, via ZagsBlog. “I think Philly would get probably, maybe one game. I know (Sixers fans) gonna be mad, but I love my Wildcats. ”

Kentucky blew out No. 5 Kansas on Tuesday, 72-40. This prompted many to ponder whehter the top college basketball team in the nation’s odds against the NBA’s worst squad.

The 0-10 Sixers look to earn their first win when they host the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
