Giancarlo Stanton Celebrates Record Contract With Giant Bottle Of Champagne (Photo)

There isn’t a bottle of champagne in the world that’s big enough to help Giancarlo Stanton celebrate his monstrous contract, but he found one that’ll work.

Stanton and the Miami Marlins agreed to a 13-year, $325 million contract extension that is the richest contract in sports history, and the slugger is celebrating accordingly. The 25-year-old partied at a Miami club — where the drinks had to be on Stanton — until the wee hours of Tuesday morning, TMZ Sports reports.

In addition to hanging with his buddies, Stanton was joined by an insanely large bottle of champagne that was actually given to him as a gift by “a well-known Miami party queen named ‘Julz.'” As if the guy making around $68,000 a day for the next 13 years would have a problem paying for it.

According to TMZ, it is a 6-liter bottle of Moët Nectar Impérial Rosé Leopard Luxury Edition Methuselah, and it’s coated in a 22-carat gold leaf. Only 60 bottles of the special-edition champagne, valued at $20,000, were made.

Life isn’t horrible if your name is Giancarlo Stanton.
