BOSTON — Well, that didn’t take long.
With just over 13 minutes elapsed in Saturday’s Boston Bruins-Montreal Canadiens matchup, Bruins center Gregory Campbell and Habs winger Dale Weise decided to drop the gloves and do a bit of scrapping.
The result was a spirited bout, and it was not at all surprising that Weise, whom Bruins fans remember not so fondly from the teams’ playoff series last season, was one of the parties involved.
The fight came with Montreal leading 1-0 after defenseman Andrei Markov opened the scoring with a power-play goal.
