The Harvard University men’s hockey team will head into Thanksgiving on a big high note.

The 18th-ranked Crimson upended No. 1 Boston University on Tuesday night with a 3-2 overtime road win at Agganis Arena. Junior Kyle Criscuolo scored his second goal of the game 3:10 in the extra period to knock off the Terriers.

The win is Harvard’s first over a No. 1 team since a March 2013 victory over Quinnipiac. The victory also continues a hot start for the Crimson, who are 6-1-2 this season.

BU freshman phenom Jack Eichel had his 10-game point streak to open the season stopped in the loss for the Terriers, who fall to 8-2-1 on the season.
