Iman Shumpert almost made a nice play Monday. The keyword there is “almost.”

The New York Knicks guard went for a no-look pass to forward Amar’e Stoudemire during the third quarter of their matchup with the Atlanta Hawks, but it didn’t exactly go as planned.

Hawks forward DeMarre Carroll ran away with the ball after it ricocheted off Stoudemire’s face, and Atlanta’s Kyle Korver added insult to injury by drilling a three-pointer. The play pretty much summed up the Knicks’ night, as they fell to the Hawks 91-85.
