Jets’ Sequel To ‘Butt Fumble’ Is Allowing Chiefs’ ‘Butt Touchdown’ (GIF)

The New York Jets are a comedy of errors.

Gang Green got off to another brutal start Sunday in Kansas City, where it allowed the Chiefs to grab an early 14-point lead. The way the Jets allowed the Chiefs’ second touchdown, however, might’ve had their fans remembering the infamous “Butt Fumble” and reaching for their drink of choice.

It appeared the Jets actually might have done something right when Calvin Pace got his hand on an Alex Smith pass near the goal line. The ball was deflected, which usually results in a harmless incomplete pass.

Not for the Jets.

Instead of falling to the ground, the ball went right into the hands of Chiefs tight end Anthony Fasano, who was planted on his rear end. Fasano then rolled into the end zone for what the Internet immediately termed a “butt touchdown.”

The Jets couldn’t recover and lost 24-10.
