The Green Bay Packers took down the Chicago Bears handily Sunday night, so Jordy Nelson was feeling rather jovial the next morning.
There wasn’t much for Nelson to discuss during his Monday morning appearance on the “Dan Patrick Show,” so Patrick asked the Packers receiver if he’d get Mike McCarthy a gift for the coach’s birthday.
?I treat everybody equally, so I don?t get anyone gifts,? Nelson said, via The Big Lead, before the talk turned to gag gifts.
Nelson let it slip that most of the gag gifts Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers gets for teammates are relatively inappropriate.
?Last year (for Christmas) — I don?t know if I can explain it — it was an undergarment for men who might wear it if they were a stripper,? Nelson said.
?So it was a thong ? a kind of Magic Mike-type outfit?? Patrick asked.
?Kind of — yes,? Nelson said. ?And my question to him was, ?Did you actually stand in line to buy that, or did you buy it online?? And he told me he stood in line, which I still don?t know if I can believe.?
Who knew Rodgers had such a sense of humor?
