The Pittsburgh Steelers had quite the surprise visitor Saturday.

Pop star Justin Bieber showed up to the team’s bible study in New York as they prepare for their Week 10 matchup against the New York Jets.

So why would Bieber, a Canadian, support the Steelers? It might have a lot to do with the fact that Pittsburgh has dominated lately, as quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has thrown 12 touchdowns in his last two games.

While defensive end Cam Heyward seemed to enjoy Bieber’s company, some believe his appearance put an inevitable curse on the team.

If the Steelers lose to the Jets on Sunday, there’s no doubt Bieber will be receiving the majority of the blame.
