It’s not very often that you see a pass get intercepted after it flies about 40 feet in the air off of a receiver’s foot, but Kansas made that happen Saturday nonetheless.
During the first quarter of their rivalry game with Kansas State, Jayhawks quarterback Michael Cummings passed to wideout Rodriguez Coleman. But instead of catching the football, Coleman somehow kicked it high in the air. After he fell to the ground, three Wildcats defenders descended on the pass for the easy pick.
Things didn’t get much better for Kansas from there, as they went on to lose 51-13.
