Ronnie Price was ejected from Wednesday’s Los Angeles Lakers-New Orleans Pelicans game for forearming Austin Rivers in the face. Rivers, son of Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, remained in the game but probably saw a few stars.
The officials slapped Price will a flagrant foul two, hence the ejection. The forearm, while crushing, didn’t appear malicious. It simply was a hard basketball play gone awry after Rivers toasted Price en route to the basket.
The Lakers lost the game. But you probably already knew that.
