Mark Sanchez is back.

The Philadelphia Eagles turned to their backup quarterback during the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans after Nick Foles suffered an injury to his non-throwing shoulder.

Sanchez didn’t waste any time making an impact, throwing a 52-yard bomb to wide receiver Jeremy Maclin on his first pass of the game.

Sanchez then capped off his impressive opening drive with an 11-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Matthews. It was Sanchez’s first TD pass since 2010, when he was a New York Jet.

Sanchez threw an interception on his second drive of the game, but hey, cut the guy some slack. The Eagles won 31-21, as Sanchez completed 15 of 22 passes for 202 yards and two TDs.
