Who knew all it took to jump-start the New York Jets was to bring one of the NFL’s hottest teams to town?

The Jets jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter on Sunday against the red-hot Pittsburgh Steelers. Much of that hot start came because of great play from quarterback Michael Vick.

The veteran QB turned back the clock in the first quarter with a pair of touchdown passes to key the early attack. However, it’s what Vick did with his legs that might have been his most impressive feat of the dominant first quarter.

Vick channeled the 2004 version of himself and took off down the field. Steelers cornerback Brice McCain stepped to try and make a tackle.

That was a bad idea.
