NFL Week 9 Injury Update: Who’s In, Who’s Out Of Sunday’s Games

7:36 p.m.: The Baltimore Ravens will have tight end Owen Daniels back for tonight’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

4:27 p.m.: Ronnie Hillman is good to go for the Denver Broncos, ESPN NFL Nation’s Jeff Legwold reports. The running back, who was listed as probable with a shoulder injury, will be on the field when the Broncos take on the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium.

4:15 p.m.: A toe injury will sideline linebacker Patrick Willis for the second consecutive game, the San Francisco 49ers announced. The Niners also will be without cornerback Tramaine Brock for their afternoon showdown with the St. Louis Rams.

11:35 a.m.: It’s official: A.J. Green is back in the Bengals’ lineup after missing three games with a toe injury.

11:30 a.m.:  Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles and San Diego Chargers running back Donald Brown have been activated for their respective games, ESPN’s Adam Schefter points out.

11:29 a.m.: Tony Romo officially has been ruled out for the Cowboys.

11:15 a.m.: The Houston Texans again will be without rookie pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney. This time, it’s because of an illness. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported a few minutes ago that Clowney will be inactive against the Eagles.

10:42 a.m.: No real news in the last 90 minutes or so, but teams soon will start taking the field for their pregame stretching and warmups. Teams will announce their inactives at 11:30 a.m. ET, which is when we’ll learn more about the statuses of players such as A.J. Green and Tony Romo.

9:11 a.m.: Here’s the latest on the New York Jets’ quarterback situation, per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

8 a.m.: Desmond Purnell, who reported Tony Romo won’t play again the Arizona Cardinals, just appeared on NFL Network. He reiterated his sources told him Romo won’t play. He added, however, that there’s a better chance Romo will return to action next week when the Cowboys travel to London to tangle with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

7:20 a.m.: There’s plenty to discuss in the Week 9 NFL injury update.

Reports surfaced early Sunday morning that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will not play against the Arizona Cardinals. Romo’s status was up in the air despite suffering two fractures in his back, but according to reports, it will be Brandon Weeden’s ball.

While the news is bad for the Cowboys, the Cincinnati Bengals received some good news Sunday morning. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green will play for the first time after missing three games with a toe injury.
