College Football Odds: NC State Hosts Wake Forest As 17-Point Favorite

A lot is on the line for the 5-5 Wolfpack, who can clinch bowl eligibility with a win. NC State is coming off a 56-23 beating by Georgia Tech, their fifth straight up loss in their last six outings. While NC State is 2-1 against the spread in its last three, it has struggled at home against ACC opponents, winless SU in its last six dating to 2012.

The Demon Deacons will be looking to end a five-game SU losing streak, but they are 5-2 ATS in their last seven. They are 6-3 SU in their last nine against the Wolfpack but just 1-8 SU in their last nine visits to Raleigh and 2-5 ATS in their last seven visits.

Clemson is a solid 7-2 overall on the season and 6-1 in conference play, placing the Tigers just half a game behind the Florida State Seminoles in the ACC Atlantic. Clemson rides a six-game SU winning streak into Saturday’s Tigers vs. Yellow Jackets betting matchup at Bobby Dodd Stadium. But the Tigers have failed to cover in their last four outings and are 1-3 ATS on the road this season.

The Yellow Jackets are 3-0 SU and ATS in their last three, averaging 49 points per game during the streak. Georgia Tech also has posted two SU wins as an underdog this season and is 4-1 in its last five home meetings with Clemson.

In other Week 12 college football betting action, the Duke Blue Devils will look to maintain their spot atop the ACC Coastal when they take on the Virginia Tech Hokies as 5.5-point favorites. The Dukies have won four straight, SU and ATS, while the Hokies have been SU and ATS losers in their last three.
