The Boston Bruins have struggled getting on the same page at times this season, but that certainly wasn’t the case Tuesday night.
The B’s struck first against the St. Louis Blues thanks to some improved awareness in the first period. Defensemen Torey Krug and Matt Bartkowski got the puck out of the Bruins’ zone and kept it moving during a line change, while the forwards didn’t miss a beat.
After the B’s pushed toward the goal, Blues defenseman Ian Cole tried to clear the puck. Luckily for the Black and Gold, center Patrice Bergeron got to it first and was ready to shoot, burying it in the back of the net.
