FOXBORO, Mass. — New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman practiced Wednesday despite appearing to suffer multiple injuries against the Indianapolis Colts.
Edelman was limited in the Patriots’ walk-through with a thigh injury. The Patriots practiced in the Dana-Farber Field House without pads.
Offensive lineman Cameron Fleming (ankle/finger) and defensive end Chandler Jones (hip) missed practice. Offensive linemen Marcus Cannon (hip) and Ryan Wendell (knee), defensive lineman Dominique Easley (knee) and safety Nate Ebner (finger) were limited. Quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) was a full participant.
Fleming’s ankle injury and Cannon’s hurt hip were new to the injury report.
The Patriots will face the Detroit Lions on Sunday at Gillette Stadium. Lions star wide receiver Calvin Johnson missed practice with an ankle injury he suffered against the Arizona Cardinals.
