Tom Brady Rob GronkowskiIt was an afternoon to remember Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

The New England Patriots welcomed Peyton Manning and his high-flying Broncos to town and delivered a resounding 43-21 beatdown, moving into a tie with Denver for the AFC’s best record at 7-2.

Sunday’s game featured positives galore, starting with quarterback Tom Brady. The 37-year-old again out-dueled Manning, completing 33 of 53 passes for 333 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. Brady’s top target was tight end Rob Gronkowski, who hauled in nine catches — including an insane one-handed grab in the red zone — for 105 yards and a score.

Then there was Julian Edelman, who helped spark the rout with an electrifying 84-yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter. Edelman added 89 receiving yards and a TD to boot, giving him four total scores in his last two regular-season games against Denver.

On the defensive side of the ball, Patrick Chung and the Patriots’ secondary put together an impressive effort against Manning’s offense, holding the Broncos to their second-lowest scoring output of the season.

The entire team deserves praise after the impressive win, but who should get the game ball? Cast your vote in the poll below.
