It sounds like the Jets will be the “road” team for the clash.

The Dallas Cowboys will play the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in the third and final game of the 2014 London series. The NFL to this point has pitted non-divisional opponents against each other in London, seemingly due to the advantage the road team gains in the division by virtue of playing at a neutral site versus a typical road game. (The Jets, for example, will play the Dolphins one game at the Meadowlands and one game in London next season rather than one game at the Meadowlands and one game in Miami.)

The AFC East foes have been on different paths this season. The Dolphins, led by a surprisingly stout defense, enter Sunday at 5-3. The Jets are 1-8, so Jets head coach Rex Ryan might want to hold off on getting a passport.
