Are you serious, Tyler Ennis?

The Buffalo Sabres forward scored an unreal leaping, no-look backhand goal during the first period of Friday night’s game against the Montreal Canadiens. It was even more impressive than it sounds.

The 25-year-old’s highlight-reel goal kicked off when he blew past defenseman Alexei Emelin along the right wing. Ennis didn’t give himself much room to cut back to the net, but he managed the feat anyhow and kicked the puck to himself while leaping over Habs goaltender Carey Price. Ennis then corralled the puck on his backhand and fired off a shot — as he was falling to the ice — that beat Price.

The unbelievable goal was Ennis’ seventh tally of the season.

While the last-place Sabres don’t have much to be proud of this year, they can certainly brag about this until the end of the regular season.
