The calendar has hit November, which means it’s time for “Movember,” when men across the country grow mustaches to raise awareness for men’s health issues. The Boston Bruins again will participate, with 17 members of the Black and Gold growing a little extra lip foliage.

Center Patrice Bergeron will captain the Bruins’ Movember team. He’ll be joined by these teammates: Matt Bartkowski, Gregory Campbell, Zdeno Chara, Loui Eriksson, Matt Fraser, Seth Griffith, Dougie Hamilton, Chris Kelly, David Krejci, Milan Lucic, Brad Marchand, Adam McQuaid, Kevan Miller, Joe Morrow, Dennis Seidenberg and David Warsofsky.

Fans can join the Bruins’ Movember team to help raise funds while growing a ‘stache of their own. Learn more about the effort by visiting BostonBruins.com/Movember.

The Bruins also will host an awareness night at TD Garden on Nov. 24 when they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins.
