Johnny Football has a baseball card.
As Beckett points out, the sports card company Topps recently announced the Cleveland Browns quarterback will be featured in this season’s Bowman baseball cards set.
The baseball connection might seem out of left field. However, if you recall, Manziel actually was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 28th round of the 2014 MLB draft. The selection, of course, was nothing more than a gimmick, as Manziel’s future clearly is on the gridiron.
That apparently didn’t stop Topps from trying to make the most of the opportunity.
At the very least, the Bowman Chrome autographed card looks pretty sharp.
