GREEN BAY, Wis. — Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been taken to the locker room after apparently hurting his left calf while throwing a touchdown pass in the second quarter Sunday against the Detroit Lions.

Rodgers appeared to reach for the back of his left leg before spending a few seconds on the ground in pain after scrambling before finding Randall Cobb for a 4-yard score with 2:24 left in the second quarter for a 14-0 lead.

Rodgers was helped to the sideline before walking on his own to a cart and taken to the locker room. The Packers said his return was questionable.

Rodgers had hurt his left calf last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was listed as probable for Sunday’s game after being limited in practice this week.

UPDATE (6:20 p.m. EST) — Aaron Rodgers isn’t planning on missing the rest of this game.

The Packers quarterback returned to the sideline early in the third quarter and replaced Matt Flynn on the field with 7:34 remaining in the third quarter.
