10:10 pm: The Boston Bruins are in Los Angeles for their only regular-season meeting against the defending Stanley Cup champion Kings at Staples Center.

This is Game 2 of the four-game Western Conference road trip for the B’s. They lost 3-2 to the Anaheim Ducks on Monday night.

Boston is seeking its first regulation road win since Oct. 25, and the starting goaltender will be Niklas Svedberg. The Bruins backup netminder is 3-3-0 with a .913 save percentage and a 2.43 goals against average. His last outing was a 4-3 shootout win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Nov. 21.

The Kings have lost three of their last four games, but they’re 10-3-1 on home ice. Similar to Boston, Los Angeles plays a heavy, physical style of hockey and tries to roll four lines in all kinds of situations. This should make for an exciting matchup between two experienced clubs.
