First Period, 12:04, 1-1: David Krejci weaves through two opposing players in the neutral zone to cleanly enter the offensive zone and sets up Milan Lucic for a great scoring chance. It’s the second time Krejci has entered the zone with possession instead of dumping the puck in.
First Period, 5:33, 1-1: Minnesota has tied the game 27 seconds after giving up the first goal. Kyle Brodziak scored his fourth goal of the season. It was unassisted.

7:10 pm: The Boston Bruins have taken points from two consecutive games, but it hasn’t been enough to keep them in a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Over the last 10 games, the Toronto Maple Leafs (8-1-1) and the Florida Panthers (6-2-2) have played great hockey, and both Atlantic Division opponents have leapfrogged the Bruins for the two wild card playoff berths in the East.
The Bruins will attempt to make up some ground Wednesday night against the Minnesota Wild, who beat Boston at TD Garden on Oct. 28 with an impressive third-period comeback.
The B’s are 0-5-0 on the second of back-to-backs, so don’t be surprised if backup goalie Niklas Svedberg gets the start in net instead of Tuukka Rask. Svedberg hasn’t played since a 2-0 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Dec. 2. He’s 3-4-0 with a .922 save percentage and a 2.28 goals against average this season.
