Jaguars Could Be Betting Favorites In A Game For First Time Since 2012

In all 12 games the Jacksonville Jaguars have lost this season, they could at least take solace in the knowledge they weren’t expected to win in the first place.

Not anymore.

For the first time in more than two years, the Jaguars might be favored in an actual NFL game. As of Tuesday, the Jags were three-point favorites over the Tennessee Titans, according to OddsShark, possibly ending a streak of 42 consecutive games as underdogs.

If the Jags remain favored, they would fall one game short of the record for most consecutive games as Las Vegas underdogs. The St. Louis Rams got points for 43 straight games from Dec. 9, 2007, to Oct. 24, 2010, according to The Florida Times-Union’s Vito Stellino.

The Jaguars (2-12) and Titans (2-12) clash Thursday night in Jacksonville. The Titans beat the Jags 16-14 in Nashville, Tenn., in Week 6.
