Quincy Acy wants no part of your Christmas joy.
The New York Knicks forward let his temper get the better of him Thursday during the Knicks’ Christmas Day matchup with the Washington Wizards.
With the Wizards leading by double digits in the fourth quarter of an eventual 102-91 win, Acy decided to level Washington point guard John Wall to the ground with a hard, two-handed shove. Wall got right up and shoved back, to which Acy responded by throwing a right hook that just missed the back of Wall’s head.
Wall was hit with a technical foul for his retaliation, but Acy was handed a flagrant 2 and tossed from the game. It’s been that kind of season for the Knicks, who now have lost 16 of their last 17 games.
