Kobe Bryant is the best trash-talker in the game, even when he’s not actually in the game.

The Los Angeles Lakers star sat out his third consecutive game Friday night when his team took on the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center. Yet that didn’t stop Bryant from getting involved after a fan apparently heckled him from the stands.

We’re assuming the curious fan inquired as to how many championships Kobe has won in his NBA career, to which the 36-year-old kindly responding by counting to five and confirming said number with a head nod.

What a nice guy.

Unfortunately for Bryant, his team came up on the short end of the count on the court, as a 21-point, eight-rebound, seven-assist performance from former Boston Celtic Rajon Rondo led Dallas to a 102-98 win.
