NBA fans have anticipated all season how the Miami Heat crowd would react when LeBron James made his Christmas Day return.
They got their answer Thursday.
The four-time MVP traveled with the Cleveland Cavaliers to the American Airlines Arena, where James was a visitor for the first time in four seasons. But when the Cavs star was introduced, he received a rousing ovation.
The Heat also gave James a video tribute.
Still, the love didn’t last very long. James elicited some boos every time he touched the ball, just as Miami star and former teammate Dwyane Wade predicted earlier this week.
