Martin Skrtel is a bad, bad man.

Skrtel, 30, suffered a massive head wound in the second half of Liverpool’s Premier League thriller with Arsenal on Sunday, but the injury didn’t prevent him from playing on and scoring the game-tying goal in the dying moments of the 2-2 draw. Skrtel posted a set of photos on Instagram on Monday, which show the fateful and dramatic moments of which he was at the center of the previous day.

Dissapoiting with the result but happy to scored that late goal and helped the team to get at least the point!

The photos show Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud stepping on Skrtel’s head, the bandaged Liverpool center back rising to head home the late goal, his celebration and the aftermath of Giroud’s stamp. Skrtel’s head wound required staples and caused a six-minute stoppage in the game, but the Slovakian soldiered on and played a pivotal role in the outcome.

It wasn’t the first time Skrtel played with staples in his head. Skrtel and Bournemouth’s Andrew Surman clashed heads in Liverpool’s 2-0 FA Cup win in January 2014.

It’s no wonder why Skrtel is known as “the Terminator” in some circles.
