NESN employees helped spread some Christmas cheer this holiday season.

Earlier this month, a group of employees visited The Home for Little Wanderers’ Big Wishes Toy Room located at Legacy Place in Dedham, Mass., and decked the large space out with Christmas decorations.

Garland, lights, wreaths and handmade signs were placed around the vacant warehouse, as the group worked to turn the area into a festive and fun toy room, organizing rows upon rows of presents across tables that filled the room to make kids’ holidays a little brighter.

Children and families alike fill out wish lists, detailing what they would like for Christmas this year and hundreds of generous people make those dreams come true, dropping off all of the new presents at the Toy Room.

The gift drive is one of the largest and oldest holiday charity gift drives in the Boston area. The organization collects more than 15,000 gifts in the month of December each year for children or families in need.
