Don’t send out thoseĀ e-vites to your New England Patriots party on Sunday until you’re sure of the outcome in Cincinnati on Monday night.

Kickoff of the Patriots’ matchup with the Buffalo Bills in their final game of the regular season is subject to change, the Patriots have announced. Whether the Patriots kick off early or late in the afternoon will depend on the resultĀ of this week’s Monday Night Football showdown between the Denver Broncos and the Cincinnati Bengals.

If the Broncos win, the Patriots-Bills game would be flexed to 4:25 p.m. ET.

If the Bengals win, the Patriots-Bills game would remain at 1 p.m.

TV scheduling aside, Patriots fans should really be rooting for the Bengals, since a Broncos loss would clinch home-field advantage for the Patriots throughout the AFC playoffs.
