Christmas came early Monday for the New England Patriots.
Peyton “Santa Claus” Manning gifted the Patriots with four interceptions in the Denver Broncos’ Week 16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, helping New England clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, which comes with some pretty handy accessories — a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
The Patriots have been good this year, so their holiday wish list doesn’t end with the No. 1 seed. They’d probably like 53 free tickets to Arizona this winter.
