FOXBORO, Mass. — There’s $500,000 riding on Julian Edelman’s playing status in the New England Patriots’ final two games.

Edelman, who was limited during Thursday’s practice with a concussion and thigh injury, can earn a $500,000 bonus if he or his team can accomplish one of the following criteria, as pointed out by PatsCap.com: 85 more receiving yards, three more receiving touchdowns, two more wins or a Super Bowl appearance.

Edelman needs 1,057 yards, 70 catches and seven touchdowns, 80 catches and 13 wins, or 80 catches and a Super Bowl appearance to earn the incentives. He has 92 catches for 972 yards with four touchdowns so far.
