FOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots’ string of practices with perfect attendance ended at five.

Running back Jonas Gray was absent from Friday’s session as the Patriots prepare for the Buffalo Bills in their final regular season game. Gray was added to the Patriots’ practice report Wednesday with an ankle injury. He participated in Tuesday and Wednesday’s sessions.

The Patriots released a projected practice report Thursday, and Gray was listed as a limited participant.

Gray missed practice last month after showing up to the Gillette Stadium facility late. Belichick sends tardy players home before practice.
