Rams Coach Jeff Fisher Expertly Trolls Robert Griffin III Before Game (Video)

Jeff Fisher isn’t the first person to execute a successful troll job, nor will he be the last. That doesn’t make Sunday’s subtle move any less impressive.

Before his team’s game against the Washington Redskins, the St. Louis Rams head coach sent six captains — Janoris Jenkins, Michael Brockers, Zac Stacy, Stedman Bailey, Greg Robinson and Alec Ogletree — to midfield for the coin toss.

Those all are decent players, but what makes them so special?

If you’ll recall, Washington traded up in the 2012 NFL draft to acquire Robert Griffin III, sending St. Louis a slew of draft picks that eventually resulted in those six players. As for Griffin? Between the injuries, losses and reports of criticism from his own teammates, the quarterback quickly is turning into one of the biggest busts of the 2012 draft.

This information apparently wasn’t lost on Fisher, who took his troll game to the next level with Sunday’s stunt. Fortunately for the head coach, his team backed him up, dominating the Redskins in a 24-0 win.

Well played, Coach. Well played.
