The New England Revolution are itching to take another shot at winning the MLS Cup, and they won’t have to wait long before the new campaign starts.

MLS announced key dates in the 2015 MLS season Friday, and the Revolution will begin on the road when they visit the Seattle Sounders on March 8 at CenturyLink Field. Seattle claimed the Supporters’ Shield last season as the team with the most points in the regular season, but the Revolution routed the Sounders in their only meeting in 2014. The 2015 season opener will pit two of MLS’ best teams against each other.

The Revolution then will face New York City FC on March 15 at Yankee Stadium in the high-profile expansion team’s inaugural home game.

The Revolution will open their slate of home games March 21 when they face the Montreal Impact at Gillette Stadium.

MLS will release the rest of the Revolution’s (and other teams’) 34-game regular season schedule at a later date.

The Revolution reached MLS Cup earlier this month but fell to the L.A. Galaxy in extra time.
