Apparently the New England Patriots don’t “Beliebe” in curses caused by pop singers.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski, running backs Jonas Gray and Shane Vereen, and linebackers Akeem Ayers and Darius Fleming posed for pictures with Justin Bieber in the Los Angeles Clippers’ locker room Monday night. The Patriots were invited by Clips head coach Doc Rivers after Los Angeles’ 127-101 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to ESPN’s Arash Markazi.

The Patriots players made the two-hour trek up to L.A. from San Diego, where they’re spending the week practicing in preparation for Sunday night’s game against the Chargers. They also posed with Clippers point guard Chris Paul.

Bieber cursed the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier in the season by posing with some of their players at a Bible study meeting. The Steelers lost to the lowly New York Jets one day after the photos were snapped, and it wasn’t the first time Bieber has jinxed a team.

Rest easy, though, Patriots fans. Bieber hasn’t been spotted wearing any Patriots gear yet, though there’s still time before their showdown against the Chargers.
