Legendary sideline reporter Craig Sager was diagnosed with leukemia in April, and since then, TNT’s NBA broadcasts have been a little less colorful.

That’s why on Christmas Day, one of the league’s biggest game days, TNT aired an 18-minute tribute to Sager. The video goes through Sager’s journey, from his initial diagnosis to his road to recovery after a successful bone marrow transplant from his son, Craig Sager Jr.

It also features interviews with two of his biggest fans: San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and Brooklyn Nets big Kevin Garnett.

Sager is expected to have a full recovery, but there’s no timeline as to when he’ll be back on the sideline.
